Initially beginning his journey as an obstetrician/gynecologist in Ohio and Illinois, he dedicated a remarkable 30 years to these specialties.

Since 2008, Dr. Catipay has taken the California healthcare scene by storm, focusing primarily on family medicine and providing compassionate care to patients with chronic conditions. With his abundant wisdom and years of experience, he now joins The Doctor team as an esteemed old-fashioned, conservative specialist. Todd Fleischhauer, FNP BC

Todd is a highly skilled family nurse practitioner, licensed across the West Coast, from California to Washington. Passionate about helping people achieve their best quality of life, he specializes in primary and urgent care, aesthetics—such as Botox, fillers, vitamins, and peptides—and various wellness therapies. Currently, Todd focuses on men’s health, providing tailored treatments to help men thrive. With a rich background as an emergency room nurse and manager in acute hospital settings, Todd holds degrees from Northwestern, Valparaiso, and North Park University, and is certified by the ANCC. Beyond his clinical expertise, Todd has made a significant impact in Chicago’s gay community, specializing in HIV management and prevention. His work in guiding patients through HIV and PrEP treatments, diagnosing new cases, and educating on prevention strategies reflects his dedication to community health and empowerment.

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Edward Barsegyan, PMHNP-C

Eddie is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Masters in Nursing. Edward has broad experience in the spectrum of psychiatry from adolescent population to geropsychiatry in many different settings ranging from simple clinics to skilled nursing facilities. Edward believes in patient-centered care and cooperation with patients to deliver the best care possible. Edward believes in destigmatizing mental health and removing the labels put on patients seeking treatment. Edward welcomes both in-person and telehealth appointments to help patients overcome their adversities and be the best version of themselves.

Elinora Madrid, MD DipACLM

Meet Dr. Madrid, a board-certified physician specializing in lifestyle medicine and a passionate advocate for patient-centered care. Born and raised in Honduras and now thriving in California’s South Bay, Dr. Madrid brings a global perspective to modern medicine. Her journey began at LSU Health Sciences Center and continued through a residency at UCLA, where she secured a $250K grant to modernize medical training equipment. With years of experience in primary care and her own practice focused on reversing chronic disease, she combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate, multilingual care in English, Spanish, and French. Outside the clinic, Dr. Madrid enjoys hiking, creating healthy recipes, and raising her two kids. Her mission? To make healthcare accessible, approachable, and transformative for all. Leslie Sweere, DNP, PMHNP

Dr. Leslie is an exceptional psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctorate in psychiatry. With over 20 years of experience in psychiatry, she is known for her compassionate and personable approach to forming strong connections with patients. Dr. Leslie is dedicated to proactive and early treatment for mental health conditions, advocating for the rights of the mentally ill. She explores alternative and traditional psychiatric approaches, emphasizing collaboration with patients. Offering both in-person and telemedicine appointments, she helps individuals unlock their true potential.

Shay Patel, FNP-BC

Shay is a nurse practitioner with over five years of diverse nursing experience. Her background includes working in various healthcare settings and managing an urgent care clinic, which has equipped her with strong clinical and leadership skills. She’s passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and bringing a versatile approach to every role.

Neal Adams, MD, MPH

Meet Dr. Adams, the impressive and distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. This guy knows his stuff! He earned his MD from Northwestern University and his MPH from Harvard University; talk about brains and ambition! After completing his psychiatry residency at Stanford, where he even served as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar, he became a fellow in the California Health Care Foundation's Leadership Program. Dr. Adams has quite the résumé, having been President of the American College of Mental Health Administration and Medical Director at the California Institute for Mental Health.

Not only that, but this genius has written a book called "Person-Centered Treatment Planning for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery" and has published a bunch of other policy monographs and journal articles. Dr. Adams is no stranger to the stage, having presented at local, national, and international conferences and even providing training on treatment plans, clinical outcomes management, and evidence-based practice implementation.

This incredible man has experience in both clinical, administrative, and leadership positions. Needless to say, he's a real superstar in the world of mental health!
